A Saudi medical team in the Medical City at King Saud University has achieved a new medical achievement in the field of cochlear implant, using (H2 forceps for the cochlea) that was invented at the King Abdullah Specialist Hospital for Ear at King Abdulaziz University Hospital in Riyadh.
The ear, nose and throat consultant Dr. Roa’a Halawani said that the forceps that were made in Austria help to self-carry cochlear electrodes, and thus the surgeon can enter the implant for the cochlea in a smooth way, indicating that the (H2 forceps for the cochleaf) is the third device invented in the King Abdullah Center Specialist for ear.
